In 2023, the Presbyterian Church of Taiwan Danshui Church, the first Presbyterian Church in Northern Taiwan, celebrated its 90th anniversary of dedication. A few years ago, the exterior of the church and its surroundings had been lit up to meet the demand for tourism in the area, but the interior of the chapel had not yet been remodeled and renovated. In 2021, Cubee Lighting successfully came on the market with the top lighting technology in the industry. In 2022, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees enthusiastically shared with the church the latest in lighting technology and expressed his willingness to make a lighting dedication to improve the chapel’s lighting environment with the most advanced technology available. We are grateful that the Church adopted the lighting plan and let the addition of new technology light up the old church for a brand new era.

DOPENESS ART LAB uses T241, a special elliptical lens that allows the artworks on the façade to be lit evenly even when the space is restricted or the angle of illumination is small. In this case, we emphasized the use of “even light” and “façade lighting”. At first glance, the lighting appears to be floodlighting, but for each façade and three-dimensional artwork, we emphasized the lighting with special optical fixtures in more than two directions, while avoiding overexposure on the façade. At the same time, we avoid over-exposure or uneven illumination on the façade, which not only injects more natural light into the space, but also highlights the details and characteristics of contemporary art.

GROOVY STORE is a fashionable clothing shop located in the Eastern District of Taipei. Due to the limited ceiling height of the shop and the limited space available, the lighting design requires special consideration. In this case, AMO’s magnetic lighting has been selected to cope with the space constraints and flexible lighting requirements. In this article, we describe how we enhanced the lighting effect of the shop with magnetic lighting, emphasizing our professional design and the adaptability of the luminaires.

Located in Taichung, Les Aqua is a fine-dining restaurant known for its Italian-French cuisine. The restaurant’s exquisite décor is one of the reasons why it has many visitors. To further enhance the dining atmosphere, Les Aqua uses our AMO smart lighting system throughout the entire space.
